Oscillating to Oyston

It was a very energetic group and over 40 motorcycles that assembled at Diverso for the weekly airing of the airheads. Drew arrived with an impressive airhead that he secured via Donnybrook.

16 riders joined the "Oscillation to Oyston" ride to Bakers Hill. Ted, Ian, Chriso, Rod Rocket Peter, Pete Two Volts, Steve, Franz, Multi Media Mark, Sophie, Navigator Nick, Astro Rob, Ralph, His Royal Griceness, David P, Mick S, Peter B and Bozo battled bicycles to burst through the Bickley Valley to Mundaring Weir. A stop at the Lakes was followed by a gipsy tipsy gentle run on Talbot West Road to cut back on Qualen West Road to cut around the back of York to Trimmer Road and Eadine Road. There was a frustrating wait at a long red light to get through roadworks and Bakers Hill. After a game of musical chairs the group were able to gather before oscillating to Oyston, indulging in Ingpen, vacillating in Vineyard, loitering in Linley Valley and luxuriating in Liberton. The ride ended at Mount Helena.
A stunning day to be out with plenty of wildflowers along the ride. The Clematis Linearifolia was in full bloom on Mundaring Weir Road. Thanks to a flexible group and to Peter Bee for running as Tail End Charlie.
