At Goldie's suggestion, a meet at Dome Byford , to suit
Members living in the Mandurah and surrounding areas, for a 9:oo am departure to destination democratically decided
Members can still meet at GJ in Ascot if they wish, and travel to Byford from there

Fantastic ride and weather. Great to see Mr. Peter B . back in the saddle and his ride leadership skills outstanding as usual. B/5 did a superb job as TEC. Thanks gents for the company.

Sooo good to get back on two wheels on the mighty RT. 6 at Ascot GJ’s capably led by B/5 to Dome Byford where another 9 riders were indulging. Somehow I inherited the lead for the day so went for the easy, well ridden route to the Bakery at Harvey.
14 riders glided alongside the railway through Mundijong and Serpentine before popping out onto the SWH for the run to Pinjarra with a minor diversion on the Pinjarra to Williams Rd to smoke (sometimes blue RTs can stay with red Dukes) down  Burnside to the SWH again and to the Coolup Recreation Hall for a break, with the locals tidying and arranging things for the following morning ANZAC ceremony. Temperatures around 16 to 18.
Took the standard Fisherman’s, Mayfield, Gibbings, Dorset, Coronation, Somers, Bristol, Johnston, Eckersley, Government, River Rds to get us into green Harvey. We boosted the Bakeries morning income with 14 hungry riders who demolished an array of pies, rolls, cakes and coffees whilst solving an array of mind bending problems.
The route is so satisfying that there were no objections to my suggestion to take some of the same route home with a minor adjustment to utilise Corio, Hopeland and Kargotich to get us onto the Tonkin. Too easy.
Thanks to all for great corner marking with special thanks to B/5 for lead and TEC duties.
