If anyone is interested, I will be leaving from Mojos for a "Homage to the Avon River" ride - I plan to cross the Avon River 14 times in the day (plus Swan twice) and to walk across 5 foot bridges spanning the rivers. Distance Mojos to Middle Swan 300 kms.

I will not be offended if the mob wish to do a different DDD as this will be a "Smell the Roses" ride, contrived to maximise crossings!

The Egregious (archaic) Eight paid homage to the mighty Avon River - Nic, Lefty, Rainer, Andy, Steve, Mick, Gio, and yours truly.

Between Mojos and Middle Swan we crossed the Avon 14 times over 12 bridges.

We headed down Talbots to Beverley’s Vincent St Bridge (1&2), Top Beverley Rd bridge (3), Gwambygine Rd E (4), South-Glebe St York (5), Burges Siding (6), Spencers Brook (7), Gardner-Newcastle Northam (😎, Forrest-Peel St (9), Katrine Rd (10), Dumbarton Rd (11 &12), Telegraph Rd Toodyay (13), Julimar Rd (14).

Keeping the Avon theme, we went down River Rd then Toodyay Rd to O’Brien, Lancewood etc to Bell’s Rapids, and finally Barrett St Herne Hill.

Some walked a few footbridges - but only Rainer and I did all five - York, Northam, Toodyay, Bell’s Rapids,Barrett St.

Good company and thanks to Lefty and Rainer for TEC duties
