Sunday November 30 2025 End of Spring Ride

Post by pspencer »

About 8 at Dome and 15 at Catalanos which was ok considering the Clubs Xmas Party in Toodyay on Saturday night.
10 riders joined me to head off to the Bindoon Bakehaus. We welcomed back David P from his Japan motorcycle tour, MMMark on his new 2020 ZR and Astro Rob now available after moving into a new house. No show from Bozo who is in N Z.
Standard route onto Orrong Rd and past the airport but I diverted the team onto the Thursday ride route to pass through Helena Valley, Hovea, Darlington, Glen Forrest and Mahogany Creek to reach the first lost point of Dome Mundaring.
The back blocks of Mundaring and Parkerville took us onto Roland Rd to access O’Brien, Clenton and Berry.
Short stint on Toodyay, Fernie, Salt Valley, Sandplain, Folewood, River Rds, landed us onto Coondle West and the Toodyay Bindi Bindi Rd. West turn onto Dewars Pool Rd had us onto the GNH and the run down the hill to the Bindoon Bakehaus.
Arriving at approx 11:20 provided plenty of seating for the now 7 riders. Usual banter proceeded as we devoured the usual tasty quality food and drinks.
Return trip was via the curvy Chittering Valley with the ride terminating at the small park at the corner of Smith Rd. We took Smith and Taylor Rds to descend the Scarp on Yarringbah Drive, with distracting city views, to join the GNH and head home.
Special thanks to Astro and David for TEC duties and Astro for leading us down the Scarp.

Thanks Peter. The Sunday BMW ride was fantastic. Full marks to Mr. Astro for TEC duties. I had a little side wager that he would have lasted at the back till Belmont. More money gone. Good to catch up with the guys again for me as I have been away for a while. Did notice big time the change in the weather. Bloody hot towards the end but it was well worth it. Thanks everyone for a great day out
