Shady Circuit to Gidge

Sunday saw a very bubbly group assemble at Catalano's and 14 head off on the 8:30 am ride. A bit of discussion about ride leader responsibilities that bubbled away for the duration of the ride.
B/5, Multi Media Mark, Tom, Rob, AAA Anthony, R90S Mark, James, Wightman, Rainer, Raider, Guy, His Royal Griceness, Peter Bee and Bozo took Crystal Brook Road to get another perspective on the Lesmurdie BP Service Station before a run on Canning Mills Road, Chevin Road and Holden Road. A run down the Brookton Highway to Soldiers Road got us to a closed Churchman Brook Dam. On a loop on Cann Road a massive male kangaroo could not make its mind up on an escape path. Surprisingly he used his paws to vault over a treated pine rail.
A stop at Yule Du Roadhouse was followed by a scoot past Canning Dam and Araluen before a stop at Mundaring Weir.

Crossing over the Great Eastern Highway we hit Anketell Road and linked to Bunning Road and stopped at a facility free Gidgegannup Bakery to discuss state boundaries.

WE did the reverse run on Weir Road and Haddrill Road by deviating to O'Brien Road and Lancewood Road. The ride ended at Campersic Road near Toodyay Road.
Most of the run was ok temperature wise with it heating up 5 degrees C when we left the Gidgegannup Bakery and got onto Campersic Road.
Thanks to the group and Peter Bee for making an easy to lead ride.
