Glen Mervyn Dam Ride 16-17 June 2011

Nigel Holroyd is leading a ride off to this dam, which is 20 kms due south of Collie. The plan is to meet at the DOME cafe in Southern River, cnr Warton and Amherst/Holmes roads at 8 am, Saturday morning. Then everyone will meet at Dwellingup en route, Nigel recommends stocking up with suitable beverages for a "long haul" around the campfire, Saturday night. There is the possibility to have breakfast in Bailingup, the next morning before heading home. Lefty and some others (including myself) have made noises about trying to go.

Sorry guys, that should read 16-17 JULY, ie this weekend coming John
Balingup is a great place for breakfast. Nearby Greenbushes is the highest point on the Darling Scarp.

I agree there was plenty of crack - especially when Nigel bent over to put more wood on the fire......
