TPMS/RDC Refurb

Post by jono »

For those with Tyre Pressire Monitorin on their bikes, the batteries in the senders last 5-7 years so 2008-10 bikes will most likely bee seeing RDC failures now. My 2009 failed a few months back and I have had to endure he yellow warning triangle since. But good news you don't have to spend +/- 200 per sensor new, you can exchange the internal lithium battery for less than $15 a pair. See the club website news article for details.

Did mine today, its as easy as. Hardest bit was standing watching the tyres being taken off and put on again.
Great initiative by the club to provide the tools and knowledge on how to do this.
