FINALLY, the older bike diagnostic tool has arrived. I have purchased this myself but have no need for it and bought it to donate to the club toolbox.
It is suitable for : K100RS (4V), K1, K1100RS, K1100LT, R850R, R850GS, R1100R, R1100RS, R1100RT, R1100GS, and any other BMW bike with the three pin diagnostic connector, Motronic ECU, or ABS, that does not get addressed by the GS911 diagnostic tool.
It looks like an aftermarket widget, not original BMW, and therefore there are no guarantees from my end. It does carry a BMW logo, but that doesn't mean much.
Anyone wanting to see if it works, contact me. It will be transferred to the club toolbox next opportunity, perhaps Bill wants to have a play first?
