Cylinder Head Covers 1200GS

Post by GSDisciple »

Had another close inspection of the dirt on the weekend while travelling slowly over a sandy patch so I think it's time to invest in some cylinder head covers to complement the crash bars.

Any suggestions on where to source some (even second hand) apart from the usual outlets, please let me know.

Regards

Having seen how easily those Cylinder head covers gave up the task I would recommend you also install the additional crash bars that protect the Cylinder head and pots. I have seen them for sale on Ebay and on the AdventureMoto site, circa $260.
I have a set on my 1200GSA which you can have a look at if you want to see what I mean.

I can tell you from personal experience  that the SW Motech crashbars from Motorrad garage work very well
