Diagnostic tool.

Post by bmwlefty »

The Club has/had a diagnostic tool for a few older bikes (like my K1100)
Does anyone know where it is?
(Not the gs 911, which is for newer models. This one is a small black box with two leads, and a small red light, and instruction sheets)

If you have it, or know where it is , please let me know ASAP please
Cheers

Lefty, I found the documentation while cleaning up some stuff in my garage. Can make you another one if you haven't found it yet. I know it is down the track from your first request. Sorry. Busy.

For those not at the meeting this week..... I handed over a simple tool I made for the older BMW K-series and pre-R1150 series, which gives diagnostic codes.

There is also an adaptor for the GS-911 diagnostic too that costs about $55 which now addresses older bikes. Just a tip that the club may want to look into this again. The diagnostics are getting pretty advanced.
