On a recent trip to Queensland I was speaking to a guy riding a KLR who had these tyres fitted and swears by them, expecially the fronts performance in sand, the front tyre was a knobby, 3.25x3.50x21 which is noticably wider than your average 21, it is also a 6 ply and the beads are recessed so the rim is not as exposed to rocks etc.
Any constructive thoughts out there?
Good thing to do??
Bad idea??

Just found out that this tyre is not road legal...end of story, a shame, it looked the goods.
