Hello everyone,
I am sure the answer to this is out there, please help with my issue / situation:
2003 R1150 GS Adventure won't start - 135,000 ks and second love of my life.
-Had battery tested - perfect condition.
-When trying to start - sounds just like there is not enough power to start (turns over once) but I have been told there is - 242 Cold Cranking Amps.
-Clock resets
-Strange electrical smell I haven't smelt before but can't see where its coming from.
Starter motor? I have no idea what to do next...
Any advice would be much appreciated
All the best,
Ryan

Re: R1150 GS Adventure starting issue HELP!
Try jump starting it straight onto the positive terminal on the starter motor, earth clost to starter motor ie engine if it still does the same it's your starter, if it starts ok it's higher up ie battery, terminals or leads, get your battery load tested not just voltage, may have a dead cell, but the burning smell makes me think its the starter motor!
