Bing Carburetor 64/32

Hi, on my R75/5 1973 I have dismantled both carburetors for service and cleaning.
I was surprised that their are no carburetor slide springs to be found, as per a diagram that I have.
Have these carbs been supplied without these springs sometimes?
Can somebody please
shed light on this problem?
