K100 RT screen

Post by gmitchell »

i have a '85 K100 RT and i am thinking of getting a new screen as the original is very weathered. Does any body have any experience with these and can anyone recommend a good aftermarket one. Eagle Screens in Thornlie has been mentioned.

Graham

I can recommend eagle screens workmanship. Otherwise not aware of anywhere else you could try.

Graham,

I recently went through the same exercise, as was not too enamered with the OEM screen.

Screens are made from Acrylic or Polycarbonate (Lexan)

After watching this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOqO9NaToC8
I went for the ZTecnik from Motorrad Garage Briggs St Welshpool. Talk to Micheal or Petra.

For Acrylic (cheaper) try here:

catch me at breakfast about Eagle screens
