GS Tie Down

As much as I loathe it the bike is getting picked up next week for shipping to Perth. A couple of bikes back and a few laptops ago I had a PDF on how to correctly tie down the GS. Tried a search on Gurgle to no avail and am hoping somewhere here may have that same PDF or something similar.

My intention is to put it on the bike so the movers don't lash to the handlebars as is much their way. ( The bike changes trucks in Mackay then again in Brisbane )

Any help appreciated.

Cheers
Nico

Thanks Jono, I did see that one. The one I had on file ages ago though was specific to the GS, I know it's the same principal but want to make it clear as mud to the truckies or whoever it is that loads it.

Cheers

Hello Nico

I have trailered my bikes several times, using both the tie down from the bars (near top triple clamp) and the tie down around the stanchions near the lower triple clamp as per the document in the link provided. I can confirm that the method provided in that link works the best. It is the easiest on the bike and the most stable method I have found for transporting the telelever BMW's :)
