Rubber mounts for 1200GS bash plate - two out of four are broken, Had a quick look and the broken rubber appears to be flush with the sump how do I remove these remains ?
Must've perished it wouldn't be from too much rough riding!
Cheers Rob

The rubber protectors on all the GS's suffer the same fate. Oil/heat is not great for rubber and they eventually go soft and break apart. Once or twice
I had the same problem so far I have been able to grab the edge with a pair of grips and get them started - they have not been wound in that tight and once started was able to just unwind them.

Thanks for that - I'll crawl around underneath and have go at grabbing them - although one has sheared off pretty much flush. Hmm never thought I'd have issues with broken rubbers at my age.
