R100GS oil cooler question

Post by jono »

Can anyone answer this?
I have a R100GS oil cooler on my G/S and I want to know which external oil line is the outgoing line to the radiator. Is it the top or bottom line?

Reason is I want to connect the oil temp sensor to the hotter line, heading to th radiator.

Thanks

Normally it is the bottom line with the cooler oil flowing from the bottom
Most problems can be solved with a suitable application of throttle!
