R100GS oil cooler question

Can anyone answer this?
I have a R100GS oil cooler on my G/S and I want to know which external oil line is the outgoing line to the radiator. Is it the top or bottom line?
Reason is I want to connect the oil temp sensor to the hotter line,heading to th radiator.
