Due to my weakness with left hand turns on gravel and threfore my prolonged tendancy to lowside on the lefthand side of the bike, the pillion support on the left is now significantly higher than the right and also further out from the bike.
The support is made from round tubing and fixed [welded] to the frame. There are two tubes that joins where the peg is attached.
I will post a photo tonight.
Any suggestions as to how I may have this repaired and who may be able to do this.
Any similiar experience out there?

Talk to Ahab - he dropped his bike at least four times a day, mainly on the right side, for 20 days in a row on the CSR........

Yes mostly and though he did drop in in one the the camp site parking areas at the start of one of the day's - he had hardly got out of first when he dropped it - as you can imagine we all looked on with great concern.....

Further to my last post and as a point of clarification -

However, on one occasion he did drop his bike on the hard gravel at one of the camp site car parks - you might be surprised to know that this event took place at the start of the day's riding rather than at the end of the day. Mike must have been doing less than 2 km's per hour when it happened - as you can imagine, the rest of us looked on with great concern."

sounds like it will need a bit of heat to get it right Koos, if all else fails we can take it out to Barry, he built my sidecar body and also rebuilt Simon's sidestand, bit of a wiz with metal, good old school tradesman.

Hi Koos. You could always ride like a real man on the right hand turns as well, thereby bringing the right foot peg eventually up tothe level of the left (and all would be good)
