R1200GSA LC tyre choice

Does anyone have any feed back on tyre choice for the 2014 onwards GSA.

I have looked at the tyre choice for my bike and it appears to come down to two tyre which will give me good off road and on road capability.

Metzeler Karoo 3 (50 - 50 on road/off road)
Continental TKC70 (60 - 40 on road / off road)

Both come in the 170-60-17 and 120-70-19 size I require.

Other manufacturers such as Shinko and Heidenau do not support this size as yet, 150 being the widest for the rear.

Are there any other options I have overlooked

Have a look back to July 2013 in the technical thread, for some previous discussions of tyres for your bike. And you thought that we were an irreponsible bunch? John
