The Blue Lightning K has been knocked over in a parking lot, fallen against a car in the adjoining bay and sustained some cracks and scratches on the fairing.
The guy who backed into the bike and knocked it over is insured and I would like to return the bike to its original condition.
I need quotes for the repairs. Does anyone know a decent bike fairing repairer out there that can:
• Remove the fairing [lots of different bolts, nuts and an assortment of other types of fasteners].
• Remove the paint from the fairing
• Repair the fairing
• Respray the fairing [may have to match the side panels and tail as well.]
• Refit the fairing – with all the correct nuts and bolts
The screen has also been smashed, but that can be replaced with an Eagle screens one, made in WA for anything from $175 to $225.
Particularly interested to hear from Wightman regarding that great paint job in the R100 RT and Goldie knowing the body business and the K75 RT bikes.
Thank you guys

Hi Koos try Discount motor cycle wreckers in Victoria they wreck BMWS for some second hand fairing panels might be cheaper and quicker than trying to repair them, if not them there's other places over east there's a lot of old ks around that have been wrecked over the years and bits siting on shelves
