Nice one. Noel. I must make an effort to attend that one. I'm going to try to attend on my K100RT so that someone can try a quick diagnostics check on it. We were given an old K series diagnostics kit by Vince, of Bassendean Motorcycles. I don't think I'm clever enough to drive it, but I suspect our brains trust, in Noel, Neville, Jono and Alex will be able to work it out and maybe give me another HP in the old girl

Ensure you bring the instructions for the antiquated diagnostics tool.

Yes, echo those sentiments. a great day, hosted by Noel. It was also great to wheel my 1988 K100Rt into the shed and play a bit with the old K100 diagnostics kit. Thanks to Alex and Cookie for getting it out for us to play. We still need to delve a bit deeper into how to check dwell angles etc. While Graham Marshall and I were fiddling about with the kit, Noel noticed that my clutch cable had twisted inside its sheath and therefore was not true inside its locating slot on the clutch lever. This happened as a result of me changing my rear main seal on the bike over a two week period, every evening after work. Thankfully the motor is still oiltight, so I am quite proud. I used a new Teflon rear main seal from Munich motorcycles. Other Club luminaries present were Teri Anne, BJ, Steve, Bob, Jono and a host of others including Adelaide based Bill Burke on a fleeting visit.

Nev was poring over the laptop and looking way too professional in the other corner, with the modern bikes..................

It was a good day, and thankfully a fine day without rain - thanks to all who attended, and good to see we have a combined knowledge base to get a variety of issues resolved. I will host another day in September, date to be advised.

Fantastic day, more than I could hope for from membership.
Resolved those little issues I had because of change of tire type.

Thanks
Steve

All you can do is the tire of the changes type
