Towhitch wiring

I have a k1200LT and want to fit a tow hitch. Has anyone done the wiring side of it and how.
I've got a hitch set up on my 1200lt you are welcome to organise a time to come around and have a look at how it's wired up. Mine is wired up with a connector so that I can remove the tow bar and the wiring is hidden up behind the pannier, I also have mine wired with a seperate anderson plug to power up my trailer when the engine is running, that way I don't flatten the battery when parked up with fridge in trailer running.
