Anybody know of cheap clutch & brake levers for 1150GSA to carry as spares. Do these bikes need them? Got stranded in the bush on the 650 once with broken clutch lever & sourced some for $4.50 that work fine but can't find any for the 1150.
Any help appreciated, Pete

If mine go missing one day, I'll know who to blame. I think I need mine.

Who needs clutch and brakes - you're going soft pejie??? I do not know of any cheap levers, but I installed the Wunderlich vario levers on the 12GS and they are excellent for riding whilst standing up on the pegs - the shorter clutch lever allowing the left hand to still have some grip on the handlebars. Purchased them from Motohanza, but they are not cheap. I now carry the standard levers as spares. See you at the OCR. I won't be on the 12GS as will be leaving from Darwin on my new (to me) TT600R Yamaha. WA Pete: Do I require permission to mention the word Yamaha on a BMW site??? Cheers

Thanks for replies. Guess it is just going to cost if i want spares.
Noel, the 1150 levers are adjustable as standard I don't think the 1200's are. Don't know how they compare to the wunderlichs but is a worthwhile suggestion, thanks. See you at OCR. I don't want the levers for myself they're more for the bike.
Geoff, I might eventually have to make another club meeting & "leave" early with my spanners. Hadn't really thought of that till you suggested it, thanks.
