Tracking a group ride…

Greetings.
Group rides, particularly where riders are separated along dirt roads and bush tracks before covering on a pub
, can be a pain. We all carry a SPOT tracker or similar device but co-ordinating can be cumbersome.
Check out Keith Jobson’s YouTube post on the matter - posted today. Search “SPOT or inReach - what's the difference? Satellite communicators explained”.
He also discusses an app called FLYTRACE. This pulls it all together for a group ride. Excellent.
I hope this is not “old news” for you Sunday warriors and DESERT RAID planners!
I use a SPOT Gen III. I also carry an Ocean Signal rescueME PLB1 Personal Locator Beacon - a cross-over from sailing… Note the comment KJ makes in respect to these devices and solo bush travel. For good measure I carry an Iridium phone.
