Motorcycle Helmet Standards

Post by bowewilson@gmail.com »

I have been trying to buy a white Bell "Bullit" helmet in XXL here in Australia but they don't import my size in this color, you can get them in the USA, some of you are probably aware the safety standards of imported helmets don't comply here in Oz (apparently even state to state in Australia they are different!) so buying my size overseas is not an option.
All seems a bit crazy to me, so there is a guy over east who is putting together a petition to standardise these laws as there is apparently a conference happening in a couple of weeks to review Australian helmet standards and I gather he will try and present a petition to try and help get some changes happening.
If you feel like signing the petition go to Change.org , search helmets and help out
