On a glorious day for a motorcycle ride six bikes took to the Darling Scarp to scrub in the tyres.
Swampy's Baby Blue still had the tyre manufacturing whiskers very evident and a route was chosen to help give a cleaner look to Baby Blue's boots.
Wes, Sleepy Paul, Kim and Andrea, German Paul and Bozo chaperoned Baby Blue from Catalanos.
Bozo got lost in the Perth Airport Logistics Hub but finally found Abernathy Road.
The traffic lights were faulty turning into Toodyay Road but the group were finally on the Campersic Road ascent. Hundreds of motorcycles were in the hills and several joined the group including a "Wes impersonator". It would not be a Bozo led ride without a plethora of cyclists but this time there were also oxygen deficient runners choosing to be in the middle of the road on blind corners.
A couple of riders overshot the Bailup Road turnoff but were back with Baby Blue in a heartbeat.
A blast along Burma Road and we were at the buzzing Bakers Hill Bakery. The group discussion ranged from surgery to skiing whilst surrounded by classic cars and multiple motorcycles.
Sleepy Paul went silo spotting to Northam and Wes headed back to Perth.
The remaining quartet headed home with a deviation through Mundaring Weir.
On the way we passed a motorcycle doing a one kilometre mono at 110 kph.
A brilliant day to scrub a few sprues from Baby Blue and get back in time to see Un Zud betting.

I need some of Swampy's sprue medicine for my tires. I have had these for almost two years and still some sprues on them!

Very uncool dude...nail clippers, or just pull em out, thing is, once out, they wont grow back. (only have to do it once)

Just replaced my front tyre at Pablo's in Melbourne.
37,000 Kms on a Heidenau and there were still a few straggly sprues on the tyre edge.
The owner of Pablo's said he had never heard of that mileage for a motorcycle tyre.
