Checking out the Crops

Post by Bozo »

A happy group of motorcyclists left from the Sunday breakfast to wheel through the wheatbelt.

Wes, Wightman, Bozo, Drew, Kim and Andrea, Bill and Doris, David and Swampy wound their way though the Bickley Valley, Mundaring Weir, Talbot West Road to Beverley.

Apart from a hundred cyclists there was little traffic on the road and despite the temperature dropping to ten degrees it was excellent riding conditions.

The recent rain had some crops with good ground coverage with other ground being worked up to give a pleasant mosaic.

The first pie of the day was consumed from the Beverley Café.

A dyslectic octogenarian was intrigued with Swampy's name tag. After staring at it for some time she said "you are wearing a lot of clothes for a skimpy, young man".....may be the name tags should have a bigger font size.

To York via the Beverley Top Road and through Spencer's Brook to Bakers Hill. Just enough time for the second pie of the day. Back from Baker's Hill via Coates Road and Chidlow.

Back to Perth in time to see most of the second quarter of the Eagles match.

A great Sunday and despite a last minute attempt, none of the group were lost.

I went past a behemoth and Swampy on Mundaring Weir rd and could see a Monza Orange R90 in the distance, Swampy probably wondered what the hell was going on. Nice jacket Swamp.

A nice short sprint again from the ridemaster, bozo. We missed Paul. The Daytona Orange R90 was me. I think Swampy's jacket was chained to his nametag, which was pierced through his left nipple. Or were you referring to my (Carnegie Junction), jacket, Bully? Did you lads get muddy?

Yeah Bully, I was wondering who the hoon from the Black Lagoon was and what he was up to?
And thanks I do like the jacket.

And yes John I did accidently pin my Tag thru my nipple, Bit uncomfortable when I took my shirt off

I think I should have stuck with the samoza's at the Beverly Bakery.

Had a spud pie at Bakers Hill and have been crook ever since I got home and still today

Hope everyone else is ok?
