Ride to Gidgey

Post by Swampy »

Acting on "Horizontal Kim's" suggestion that we head out for a ride, Baby Blue left Catalano's with 7 other hardy stalwarts in tow and headed up the hills via Lesmurdie Road and through a pleasently quiet Mundaring Weir Road to Mundaring.

From there we wound our way along Stoneville Road to Toodyay Road. I misinterpretted Kims intentions to take another direction and inadvertantly led the group down the twisty O'Brien Road for some spirited riding (after we lost the 4wd"s )and then lobbed back into Gidgy for a coffee stop at the local bakery.

A very pleasent break was made more enjoyable by being served by two very easy on the eye's waitresses delivering our drinks.
It was the cold weather that was making my eyes water...............Honestly Guys

The group split up from there to head our individual ways back onto the coastal plain.

Lovely day for a ride with some good company, Thanks fellah's for letting Baby Blue head some magnificient more powerful machines (One with a brand new battery to charge) on todays ride. 8)

No big mobs of push bikes and no one lost on todays outing Bozo................Strange That

Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Sounds like I am out of job....I knew that the inability to avoid cyclists and losing group members would eventually cause grumbling.

Well done...where to next Sunday?
