That was a while ago, they lasted a while before breaking up, in fairness to Bill they were Mk1, so maybe at your next dental appointment you should give them a go!
I use the plugs made in Victoria (they were at the bike show, cant remember the name) which are probably the best I have had, but even they needed a rest after a few consecutive days due to some irritation.

Thanks Bowe.

I think I'll get some genuine Earmolds for her. Sorry Bill.

I have used the music ear moulds with tubes for around 15 years now. I had the first set made in the UK. The guy in Bicton offers a good service and will refurb your setup with new ear tubes and a recoat of the mould.
They work very well for around 18 months with hard use. However I have found these do not like the heat, the tubes eventually go hard and stop letting sound through, most frustrating as it's usually one ear that stops first. The moulds will eventually crack so you need new moulds made (probably a result of hardening of the tubes). The good thing is the speakers and cable can be re-used so you only need buy the bits needed.
If you leave the sound tubes outside your jacket they will pickup wind noise so just keep them out of the wind and they are just fine.

I now have a set where the speakers are moulded into the ear buds. The advantage is you can have a short lead that simply plugs into your helmet Bluetooth unit with an extension lead for none Bluetooth use. There is also much less bulk inside your helmet. Generally these are more convenient, I'm very happy with them so far, (I've only had these a year so I can't comment on durability).
