JP
Sorry about missing the ride to Swampy's favourite pub.

In Melbourne to watch the rugby.

My disappointment at the Wallabies losing was exacerbated by being surrounded by happy, singing Poms.

First time the Wallabies have played at AAMI Park and it attracted a ground record crowd for any sporting event.

Had coffee this morning with the BMW Club of Victoria....only one R1200GS turned up amongst the dozen bikes....very unlike WA for numbers and bike types.

Bozo the ride situation goes to pieces when you aren't around to organise. I tried getting a ride together for a gentle perusal around the Chittering valley, a pie at Bindoon, continue to Toodyay and home again. But Swampy managed to coherce the majority of those wanting to go for a ride , to ride for what ever reasons,to Quindanning.

Anyway Colin DB and myself ventured off and had a great ride, just the 2 of us.

Guys

There is always next week.

It seems that the next Sunday ride will be anywhere but Woop Woop, Bindoon and Quindanning.

Bindi Bindi?

To Whom It May Concern, The rides must go on even if someone decides to fly to Melbourne to watch the Wallabies lose ( with the assistance of a Frog Ref)
is a better option then sitting at home doing exactly the same but for a cheaper price

It was decided to go somewhere beginning with Q this morning, Hey I get easily confused with big words these days but I knew to head South.

Unfortunately it was not the South I was supposed to lead the group but I did get to wave to my wife as I rode past my house getting there?? 8)

A young waitress maid in Dwellingup came close to blinding me by dancing next to me jiggling her bosom whilst serving Kim with his cake.

As a result of this encounter Kim took over as lead rider and we enjoyed a quick run down to a place with a Pub beginning with Q?

Ordered lunch but came close to waving our table number 27 and calling out as people who ordered after me received their meals first and there were the usual long delays getting our meals. However I managed to contain myself.

Was sunny an nice and warm at first but it didn't take long for the clouds to roll in and it rained as we headed home.

Snaga and Drew decided to go their own way so Kim, Bill and Trish and I went ours.

Attempted to stay with my lead group but got a fright from a Police car coming in the opposite direction and quickly curtailed any further attempts of reaching them.

Heavy rain falling and I again didn't listen to directions and stopped at Bannister instead of North Bannister for fuel where the pump attendant attempted to have me pay for someone else's rather large fuel bill.

That sorted eventually caught the main group at the right Bannister, (I told you I get confused with big words) and headed home into more heavy rain showers before I got home sometime after 4.

A really enjoyable ride with good company again with plenty of ribbing about me mixing up my Q's and sense of direction.

Due to the cooler weather we made a few stops for both P's and Q's

Thanks to all for the day 8)

Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
