Mostly still mumbling...haven't seen him walk on here...
Re: 40th Border Run
Hi guys! No more mutterings, cleaned the bike, changed the fuel filter, dropped the coolant, replaced the airfilter. Will do the oil today. The bike is as good as new just with a black lower fairing piece installed in amongst the grey top part. Nice two tone...............
Knee is a bit sore but no broken ligaments

Re: 40th Border Run
Apparently the guys who left on Thursday got very wet.
I left on Friday and got slightly damp from road spray and a few spots of rain
Some of the guys who headed West on Sunday got nearly drowned between Madura Pass and Cocklebiddy
That storm reached Border village late afternoon , split, and rained mostly to the North and South of us. Some rain overnight
Mostly clear blue skies for the return to Perth on Monday and Tuesday

Re: 40th Border Run
Was mostly a wet trip for me, though apparently nothing like last year, my gear kept me dry. All the bet to John, riding on clay, not good, hope the Gascoyne track doesn't provide the same conditions, been a bit of wet lately.

Guy
Not a lot of recent rain in the Gascoyne,
Murchison had 3.8mm last Sunday and less than a millimetre since.
Forecast north of Mullewa is for no rain until Tuesday after the races.
All Murchison routes to the Races are open http://www.murchison.wa.gov.au/road-con ... eport.aspx
Gascoyne Roads are also open other than Pigandy Road and should be nice and dry by the time we get there http://www.uppergascoyne.wa.gov.au/Road-Conditions.aspx
