Club monthly meeting Wed 12 th Oct

REMINDER TO MEMBERS to members that our bi-monthly Social meeting will be held at MEAN MACHINE 33 Rudloc St, Morley starting from 7pm. Due to the booking arrangement please note we will be changing the date now to the 2nd WEDNESDAY OF THE MONTH for this meeting instead of the Monday that was the previous arrangement.
This is the new venue replacing Spadille Cafe for our social bi-monthly meeting where members and partners are encouraged to experience the camaraderie of belonging to the BMWMCCWA. For members that haven't been to one of these meetings, it is a chance to meet fellow club members and their partners, get a brief rundown as to what is happening around the club, the chance of picking up one of 3 quality raffle prizes and a night out with food and drink available from Mean Machine.
I am sure members that haven't attended one of these meetings will go away inspired

The social meeting at MEAN MACHINE was very successful on a very hot sticky night. We had close to 40 attending with quite a few new faces and lots of old faces that haven't attended one of our meetings for a while. I think the venue was very good for this type of gathering where members can have a meal a drink and mix socially. Everyone I spoke to felt that the camaraderie,venue and the meeting was very positive.
The Pres gave a brief outline of club news, events, welcomed new attendees and then drew the first of 3 raffle prizes. Club member Dren won the first prize of an assortment of goodies which he felt were far too valuable to be for a club raffle prize. Somehow when the second prize was drawn, Dren also had the winning second prize ticket wiich he put back into the box for someone else to win.Third prize was won without any more dramas.
Our next club formal monthly meeting will be held at the Vic Park hotel on the second Mon of November. This meeting is run on a more formal agenda with more members and committee IMPUT.
This meeting and the social meetings are both important for getting members together so they feel involved and part of our great MC club which makes it relevant and strong.
Try and get involved with your presence. It makes a difference.
