Dirt ride to cook off

Post by jls »

For those interested I'll be leading a dirt ride to the cook off
Nothing to hefty and big bike friendly just a leisurely ride on a few back roads ,will be looking at arrival at the cook off just after mid day to secure a tent site then maybe doing a bit of look see on the bike
I will be supplying hot water via the trangia for morning tea so bring a cup and your favourite brew and any snacks ,this will be in a bush setting along the trail
Will be departing Kalumunda Dome 8 30 sharp

I hope to be able to tag along, but plans may change.

Don't get sucked in...Jamie tends to lead from the rear. Make sure you study the map very well before you leave. Have a back up plan.

Hahaha I have heard that about Jamie. Unfortunately I'm probably not much better. Lol. But I will take my map.

Ok ok ok
See those coming via the dirt @ the Kalumanda Dome for a 830 departure
For those who have not attended a camp cook off before ,it's a fun event with plenty of laughs and good cheer and a great excuse to get on the bike and enjoy the country side

I will come along for the ride and turn back at the point where I feel we are becoming hopelessly lost.

Aw, that's a bit harsh, true, but harsh.

Twenty metres from the Dome Robbo went troppo, must be a record! We found him, so all good in the end.

Me, Robbo, reklaw and Chris G followed jls to the camp cook off.

9.5/10 to jls for putting together a cracking good route with only a couple of minor stops to consult the map, plenty of dirt with the odd technical sections to keep us awake.

Chris G and I slabbed it home via coffee and cake at Bannister.

All in all, a top day on the bike and a cup of tea made for us by the tame dentist.

I agree, an excellent ride through some superb tracks.
