Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Hiya Alex...I had a look, best I resist temptation, though people spend over $30,000 on shitbox Harleys, this would be a great value machine to own.

Yay ...........some straps on the Krausers would make it more authentic.
It's not good having your undies/toothbrush flying out on highway one.
Thats a lovely bike, at $15.5K it makes a lot of sense. However I'd just drop it, scratch the tank and put a Corbin saddle on it.
I would not be a worthy custodian.
Controversial Bit: (totally unsolicited)
Is the R90s a Cliche?
When I was a young Bloke I knew a Farmer who pestered an Old Bloke about his "Silberroch" R90S with 16000Kms on it(Adelaide). He got it for $6 Grand in the end.I hindsight he was a hairs breath from what we would call "elder abuse"these days. Having a R90s eventually didn't go very far towards correcting his imbalance "Id quod circumiret, circumveniat' (as you sow you shall reap)
I couldn't afford one then and now........well I don't think I'd want one. I'd just be another duffer buying the bike everyone who's spent 3 days on a BMW bangs on about.
I've done a considerable amount of Miles on /6's..............I might be done.
As Cosby Stills and Nash said "If you cant be with the one you love...........Love the one your'e with".

SB

Do not mess with Latin on the forum given the keen Latin Scholars that populate this space.

"Id quod circumiret, circumveniat" means what goes around comes around.

As you sow so shall you reap is "Ut sementem feceris, ita metes"

Love the one you are with is "et amor unum sunt".

Chris.
If there was a keen Latin Scholar it would be you.
Can I make a point of having you on the table if we ever have a quiz night?
I mean there's only so many times they can ask you about "Think Big"
My Dad has a formidable grip on Latin however going on 92 I suspect it's loosened somewhat.
as for me..............obviously my "Google Latin" Skills need chucking.
As a Classical scholar Whats Latin for "Undies out the Krausers"?

SB

Undies from the Krausers is a bit too vulgar to directly translate so instead I provide "loincloth from the panniers"

"cinticulus ex panarii"

If it is a female undergarment it is "subligaculum ex panarii"

The Romans may have regarded Krausers as a type of shell in which case it would be "cinticulus ex calyx"

Obviously a great bike given the chatter
I know a guy who does them up and says 'yeah great investment if you put them in the lounge room'...
I think he means they need to be pampered and loved more than new bikes and keep the km's low
just my op.

Nah, R90esses need to be ridden all the time to keep the rubbers and everything flexible. It takes a full ride to the Border and back to deglaze the rings.
All sorts of gremlins and goblins could set in. Points close overnight and the piston settles into the bore as hard as a woman's heart. qui cum canibus concumbunt cum publicus surgent
