Haha... like your work Robbo. Although, maybe you should have signed off as "slacker".

Digger your drone photos are excellent the one of the cliffs I think would be at home on a post card. They have been making bikes for a 100 years or more and still can't get suspensions right. Pity about the trip would have liked to see how the Ducati went.

100 km east of the WA/SA Border...gotta long way to go. Up before Dawn and on the road just after sunrise.

This burnt out trailer was not here on the forward journey about 9 days ago. This was just east of Madura. There were several dozen bottles of wine that survived the fire (just left of bike). I was gunna collect a mixed dozen but had no room on the bike. Bummer.

The other two riders got held up on the Oodnadatta Track for 48 hours while it dried out. Sounds like I missed some of the fun.

I expect to be in the metro area on Friday afternoon...might call in to Auto Classics and ensure the shockie has been ordered.

So much to do...

The little I know about wine is that being in a burnt out trailer is not ideal cellaring conditions. Your mixed dozen would have been very interesting to taste and might be on a par with some cleanskins from the Spud Shed.

Some Fume Blanc has a light char on the barrel but not a heavy char on the surrounding packaging.

Good you were limited on taking advantage of a smoking deal.

Trust me, I'm no connoisseur. Compared to some of the hootch I've consumed over the years, this would've been liquid silk.
