Re: Tuning day
Very successful day for my 1200 GSA with a reluctant shredded head of a torx bolt being carefully removed with a hammer. Thanks to Nev for sorting out my upside down tit restraint and for the ape with the hammer using an ancient hammer and gad technique.
Thanks for Guy for hosting. Google sent me to his house via Blackall Drive and it seems that it is his plan for all his motorcycles...collect and Black all...until he has got a New Zealand rugby side team in his impressive garage complete with inspection pit. I am not sure that there aren't a few triumphs under the jarrah planks covering the pit getting that crusty look that Guy seeks.
Nev looked liked a praying mantis waving his twin green temperature monitors and checking exhausts and final drives for aberrations and scaring some bike owners with the huge differentials.

From the green infrared temperature probe waving preying mantis, a follow-up on the data collection exercise.
The only real useful information acquired was that the final drive temperature range measured on all bikes was from:
Will need to follow up by checking on a long ride on a hot day.
The exhaust temperature measurements were all a bit random. Need to think about that a bit more.
