The Bozoless/Swampyless Sunday Ride
Without our tireless escorts a fine band of five thumping twin pots headed for the hills on Sunday August 19. Wes,Vic,Colin, Ross and Peter decided a sunny day with 12 to 25 degrees C was a perfect day for a spin. So we stole Bozo’s #33 ride and headed to Gingin Park Cafe via Airport bypass, Great Northern Highway, Neaves Rd, Old Yanchep Rd, Indian Ocean Drive, Military Rd, Gingin Brook Rd and Dewar Rd. We solved the worlds problems at the cafe over coffees and snacks, enjoying the sunny day and then split into three groups for the return to civilisation with some driven by the need to see the footy and others happy to enjoy the flowing creeks and green paddocks of Chittering. So overall, considering a Bozoless/Swampyless situation it all turned out damm fine!

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Peter
Thanks for taking the initiative. I had a slightly longer Sunday ride (675km) on the 2010 RT through Waroona, Roelands, Henty Brook Road, Pile Road, Gnomesville, Donnybrook, Capel, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Wildwood Road, Caves Road, Prevally, Margaret River, Bunbury and home. Ferguson Valley was magnificent, Gnomesville flood damage overstated, wine and coffee excellent with a pie at Dunsborough. Not a cloud in the sky and with the wattle and hardenbergia adding colour to the fresh green scenery it was very pleasant.

Swampy looking forward to seeing you back in the Big Smoke on your RT. Enjoy the peacefulness of your country retreat.
Bozo now that is a big day’s ride and I think I would need a few coffee breaks to make it back home - great effort on a great day.
