Great turn out today with Braam and his noisy offspring, new member Michael, Steve with his unique tyre clad RT, Nev doing open heart surgery on Wes' GS, Anthony discussing rear suspensions, Bolton with painted hands, Rob on his way to a lipstick event, Noel on his HP, Alex flying a hull and over 20 others. It was a rare day when 1200 GS' were in the minority.
Wightman and Bolton chaperoned Goldie, Ted, Michael, Steve, Peter and Bozo to the Darling Scarp. The group had only gone a few metres when an SUV tried to cut across an accelerating Bozo and a Mercedes put its flicker on late in a Roundabout giving the ABS a workout. At the foor of the Lesmurdie Hill another motorcycle group made life confusing by merging with us. Turning off on Canning Mills Road restored some order to the group. Taking Mills Road east the group traversed Tonkin Highway to get to Rowley Road for more unwelcome interaction with motorists. A quick stop at Wells Park to discuss wrecks and submarines before a run along the coast past Palm Beach and Safety Bay. Back in the Saturday morning traffic for a slow commute to Miami. A pleasant sojourn at the Miami Bakehouse before a run around the Peel Inlet, a devaition on Coolup Road East and Burnside Road before a return on Corio/Rapid/Kargotich Roads.
Thanks to Peter for running tail end Charlie on a day when it was very easy to lose riders. Welcome to Michael and hoping his pursuit of the dolphins bears fruit.
