Ride this Thursday
"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Re: Ride this Thursday
The Magnificent 7 swelled it's ranks by 2 this morning in preparation for today's ride.
Peter, Noel, Leon, Brian/5, EJ (Emma) DFS, Digger, Chris and Swampy met at the Dome in Kalamunda and spot on time at 0945 we departed with Peter leading us on a magical mystery tour of the hills before emerging on Grt. Eastern Hwy and scooting up to Clackline where we left the main road and took to the back roads to Northam where we took a quick break before heading off to Goomalling.
Passed through Goomalling without stopping and meandered our way to Toodyay where I took the opportunity to refuel before meeting the rest of the group upstairs at the Bakery!! (Apologies to CC Cafe)
From there Chris Departed for a solo run home whilst the rest of the group headed off onto Julimar Road through the Chittering Valley to BullsBrook where we had a group hug and debrief before splitting up to head off to our respective domiciles !!
Many Thanks to Peter for leading the ride, Damned if I know how he remembers so many back tracks so well?? While I was quite happy to bring up the rear of the group!!
A really good ride with a mixed group of riders taking part on what turned into a nice day weather wise!!
