Rob brought along a $50,000+ BMW for the members to inspect...only problem was that it had 4 wheels. It was as challenging to find the BMW's i3 engine as locating one in an Italian scooter. It was a hard sell to petrol heads but there was great interest in a possible visit of the zero bike.

8 riders undertook a scrabble through the southern suburbs to get to Kwinana Beach. DFS, Ted, Bill, EJ, Peter, Stoy, Swampy and Bozo headed up to Canning Mills before descending on Canning Mills Road to Canning Mills Road East. A quick run along Tonkin Highway got us to Rowley Road. By the time we got to Latitude 32 we were down to 6 bikes. A quick stop at Wells Park, Kwinana Beach to take in the azure water before drifting past Safety Bay and Mandurah to reach the Miami Bakehouse. A lot of Sunday traffic split the group up but the remaining 6 all arrived safely at the high calorie destination.
An enjoyable buzz around the estuary and a loop on Burnside Road had us back at Pinjarra where Swampy and Ted took a direct route home. Half of the original group took the sweeping bends of Corio Road to filter through the back blocks to get to Kargotich Road.
A pretty uneventful ride with Ted quickly sorting out his fuel leak before we got underway despite being out dancing late the night before....the 80+ year olds have all the fun. Some police action in Coolup but it was hard to work out what was going on.
Great day for a ride. Thanks to Swampy for running tail end Charlie duties on Harry the Honda.
