Good to see McFarkle at breakfast along with some impressive BMWs piloted by Bowe and Wightman. A quick check of BOM radar and a decision was made to go north.
Six took advantage of the clear sky for a run through the Chittering Valley through Bindoon to Gingin. His Royal Griceness was still trying to wear the blocks off his rear tyre on the urban GS with Wightman was on a show stopping red BMW and Swampy on Harry together with Stoy, Vic and Bozo were amongst the hundreds of bikes out on Sunday morning. There were also almost a hundred emus in three large mobs on the Lower Chittering Road. We had been waved through a breathalyser at Bullsbrook to be stopped by a roadblock of fans at Bindoon wanting to talk to Wightman.
The most popular carbohydrate and dairy product at the @cafe at Gingin was a toasted cheese and tomato sandwich with Vic, Swampy and Stoy making a toast to the Sunday ride.
Back home via Military Road and Old Yanchep Road after an enjoyable ride.
Photos courtesy of Wightman to follow.
Thanks to Swampy and His Royal Griceness for running as Tail End Charlie.

Re: A toast to Sunday
Shortly after taking this shot at Bindoon Wightman was surrounded by an excited horde.

Always lurking in the background at our destinations is a bus full of senior citizens. At Gingin:
