Post by Swampy »

There will be a ride this Thursday meeting at the Dome in Mundaring at 0900 for a projected 0915 departure??

Destination and route unknown, Decided on morning by majority vote!!

Maybe Ross can drag himself away from house duties this week to clock up some ks before his bike turns into a museum piece??? :P

All welcome

Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

What a great day for a ride in the country with an excellent turnout of 9 x riders who met at Mundaring. Would have been 10 but young Mick had to pull out to have a new windscreen fitted to his car!!

Peter, Brian/5, His Royal Griceness, DFS, Herman, Goldie, Vic and Ross even managed to front up and joined Swampy for a coffee before taking our leave from the Dome.

Brian/5 took the lead today and lead us all over the hills on a brilliant ride. Somehow we managed to all end up entering Toodyay after an extended run in brilliant weather.

Herman pulled in with 1.5 litres left in his tank attaining terrific economy out of his GS!!

An extended lunch at the Coke Cafe was enjoyed by all before the group split to return home.

The majority took Julimar Road to Bullsbrook whilst I slabbed straight home arriving in the verdant South of the city at around 1600hrs.

All in all a great day out with in excellent company and an interesting ride.

Thanks to Brian/5 for organising the route and leading the group!!
