I have a urge to go have a look at Mount Augustus some time in the next few weeks.
Camping out going up and back with an overnight at the Mount Augustus Tourist park to wash half the dust off.
Route is via Meekathara thru to Mt Augustus and then thru Gasgoyne Junction onto Carnarvon and back to Perth.
Will need minimum range of 350 Kms , no problem with the RT, fuel available at Mt Augustus. Roughly 650 to 700 Kms of ,hopefully, good gravel road.

The urge has over taken me and I will be leaving tomorrow morning. Ill stop for a coffee with the boys meeting at Mundaring Dome.
