Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

A cold overcast morning greeted 3 hearty stalwarts who me up at the Dome in Mundaring this morning.

Bill C., Rob (brand new member) and Swampy enjoyed a hot beverage and a long chat getting to know Rob who has promised to bring a mint looking BMW hybrid Cafe Racer down to Cat's next Sunday for all to drool and dribble on 8)

A late start saw take to the Lakes, West Talbot road which was new to Rob onto York, Northam and eventually Toodyay where we made a welcome stop for lunch at the Coce Cafe after the temp. never climbed above 13C on the trip there

The sun made an appearance which cheered an otherwise miserable day and we enjoyed a lengthy lunch and chat.

Rob made tracks back to Parkerville and home to fulfill other commitments while Bill and me had an enjoyable wait a while which delayed out homeward journey.

Might have been good for Bill heading North for Dune Country but I caught heavy rain returning to the picteresque Southern suburbs

Made a right old mess of Harry after spending hours cleaning it a couple of weeks ago after wet weather messed it up on our trip to Jurien Bay!!

But I must say it was terrific being back in the saddle after a couple of forgettable weeks laid up!!

Back to work Monday so no ride next week for yours Truly!!

Thank you Bill and Robb for your company today on another enjoyable ride!
