A car took up some prime BMW Parking early but soon left and Bemer Dave tried to preserve the space for Robin so that he would have enough room to park his R1800 if he rocked up!!
It was Eve's last day serving up our coffee until after Christmas now while she takes time off to have her second bub!! We wish her all the best and look forward to her returning to work to have a break from the kids!!
Bozo was AWOL this morning so Peter Spencer took up the slack and organised a group ride South around the Peel Inlet with a Bakery his proposed destination!!
Meanwhile a gentlemanly trio, Wes, Bill C and me headed for the hills along Welshpool Road, Lesmurdie Hill, and Mundaring Weir Rd. before slabbing it to the Lakes where Bill filled his tank and Wes and I emptied ours before hitting Talbot Road West where Bill was soon a disappearing speck on the horizon
Wes being the observant person he is spotted a mob of Emus, Roo's and a Camel with two humps in the paddocks near the road but I think both Bill and I had blinkers on and only had eyes for the road and missed seeing any of them!!
York came and went as we took the back road to Northam and the scenic back road towards Toodyay and surprised a group of Road Workers grading the verges by popping out between their Lollipop people and warning signs and as they were a tad slow in reacting to seeing us we cruised on through against the traffic flow!!
Very friendly people these country type road workers as they all took time to stop work out to wave to us as we sailed on through unobstructed by warning signs!!
A large mob of people in Toodyay as is normal on weekends but we still managed to find a table at the Cola Cafe. WE had just taken our seats when another gentleman of repute Mr. Christopher Grice Esq. wandered in and joined us at our table!!
A very pleasant hour was spent gas bagging about such topics as the US elections, Covid 19 and next Saturday's Border opening and the possible consequences!!
And Wes pumped Chris about water and food issues whilst traveling by bike in the outback and suspension topics!!
The group spit from the Cola Cafe to make their individual gentleman journey's home after a very pleasant day out on our bikes in good company!!
We are so fortunate to live here in Western Australia!!
