Stirling Sunday for Sagittarians

Post by Bozo »

Massive roll up today of over 50 bikes. Good to see Jamie in the clear and Beemer Dave squeezing in another ride.

December seems to be a popular month for birthdays with Jack turning 70 and Ted being a hale and hearty 87.

11 riders and a pillion took the Summer Sunday run to Gidgegannup. Nick, Sophie, Adrian, Bill+Trish, HRH Griceness, Mark, Marco, Andrew, Stoy, Peter and Bozo filtered through the hills via Repatriation Road, Patterson Road, Walnut Road, Aldersyde Road and Mundaring Weir Road. Sensible riding by Bill enabled the temporarily split group to rejoin to get to Gidgegannup via Anketell, Bunning and Mildura Roads. A loop on Reserve and Berry Roads got us back to Toodyay Road and the Gidgeannup Bakery that was full of motorcycles including some familiar BMW's. A run back home along Clenton and O'Brien Roads and then down Lancewood Road had the group split in two with most heading for the BMW Bike Expo at the Stirling Gardens to catch up with Cookie, Karen, Nev and Brian/5. HRH Griceness's RNineT was a popular item amongst the people drifting past.

Thanks to Peter for running as Tail End Charlie and Stoy and Andrew assisting with corner marking.

Thanks Bozo for leading, Stoy and Andrew for keeping us on the righteous path all making my TEC duties sooo easy. Not too hot and a pleasant break at the Guildford Markets. Cookie and the team at Guildford did a great job to advertise the club. Merry Xmas and a happy New Year to all, enjoy the break.
