Remembering Gunna and Rob...
On a very hot Sunday morning five riders, including members from the BMWMCCWA, headed off for a day ride. Only three returned home that day. Two collided head-on into each other along Nanga Brook Road, just east of the Scarp Road intersection.
The fateful Sunday was 11 February 2001 - 20 years ago today.

"I love a sunburnt country, a land of sweeping plains.
Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
