As the covid-19 status had remained. Peter, B5 & Eddy meet up at Ascot before departing to Kelmscott. There we were joined by Steve, Ross, Nick, Sofie, DFS and Nick. All agreed that Quindanning was a suitable destination, Steve had some repair work planned so did not join ups for the ride.

Eight bikes departed going via Railway, Wungong, Hopkinson, Thomas to Byford, then up through Jarrahdale and Serpentine Dam, North Dandalup, Dwellingup and via Lower Hotham to Quindanning Hotel. The highlights of the trip out were that Ross decided to jettison some gear from his top case after a bit larger bump. Eddy did the clean-up returning the gear a Dwellingup. A large group of riders were parked outside the Blue Wren. A section of Del Park due to roadworks was unsealed giving the bikes a light coating of mud. Visually it looked like very slipper wet clay but proved to be a lot more stable than expected.

We got our food orders in at the Quindanning Hotel just before the group of riders from Dwellingup arrived. It was almost cool sitting outside eating our lunch however it was ideal weather for the ride. For the return trip we missed the unsealed section by going home via Pinjarra & Hopelands Rd.
Thanks, Peter, for taking the lead a great ride.
