Re: Thursday Ride February 25 MOJOS MUNDARING
The regular group meeting up at Mojo’s. Peter & Brian were first to arrive after a meeting up at the Ascot Shell. While there, Wes cruised passed without a wave, when asked, said he was concentrating on the traffic. The others turning up for the ride were Swampy, Nick, DFS, Robin and Ross. Digger turned up just for his muffin and to see if the discussions had improved from his last visit. There was a split in the choice of destination, Calingiri or Goomalling. As Peter offered or was he press ganged into leading the ride. The DDD was for Calingiri. Still deciding if it was a democratic or dictatorial decision for destination.
The route out was straight down the highway to The Lakes for a refuelling stop for Robin, the on to Clackline. Swampy found he was slightly deflated at Bakers Hill, so he decided to head back home to sort out a slow leak in one of his tyres. Nearly left Wes behind at Clackline as he was hanging back on the corner waiting for Swampy. Just as well TEC remembered he had not continued on after the regroup just past the corner.
Route out after Clackline was via Toodyay-Clackline, Hoddy Well, Salt Valley, Sandplain and Stirlingia roads into Toodyay up to the Pelham Lookout & Reserve. After a short break we carried on through Bolgart to Calingiri via Julimar, Coondle W and Bindi-Bindi Toodyay Roads.
We had lunch at the Café opposite the school in Calingiri. The BM bikes were remembered from our last visit in Sept last year.
The way home was along the Calingiri- Goomalling Road to Goomalling. A refuel for some with Ross, Wes and Robin taking the direct route home through Toodyay. The remainder deviated along Irish Town, Katrine, Salt Valley and Toodyay Roads.
Thanks all for your company
Brian

Re: Thursday Ride February 25 MOJOS MUNDARING
Thanks Brian for your partial lead, mostly TEC and doing all the ride report, greatly appreciated
. Hope Swamps got his tyre issue resolved. Great to see the rest of the team and how we all looked after each other and lost nobody.
